Born in Borger, Texas on September 25, 2007. He was born with a heart defect called Tricuspid Atresia. He also had an Atrial Septal, and Ventricle Septal defects. Soon after birth, he was rushed to Children's Medical Center of Dallas.

Keegan was rushed to Children's Medical Center in Dallas. They discovered his heart defect and watched him for a couple weeks. Normally single ventricle babies require three surgeries, but Keegan didn't require the first surgery. Luckily we were able to take him home and love on him for the next 3 months

Keegan had his first surgery (Bilateral Bidirectional Glenn Shunt) and handled it like a champ. We brought him home a week later.

Keegan developed chylous pleural effusions, and had to be life-flighted to Children's Medical Center of Dallas. He spent the next 3 months fighting those effusions, along with pulmonary thrombosis(blood clots in the lungs), clot's in his S.V.C.'s (Superior Vena Cava), Venous collaterals, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary stenosis, and possible hyper-coagulation(blood forms clots too fast, and is too thick)
